Video Chatting

Right now at this very moment, I love to video chat with Sarah and Lindsay (our friend). Today I signed on and Sarah wanted to chat. So I accepted and now I'm obsessed with it! The second round (with Lindsay after I was off for an hour or so) we were outside at 9 pm. We liked it! Sarah rolled down the hill and I saw it even though I was a few miles away. It was AWESOME!

I know what I'm doing this summer....

It's About Time!

What's up my friends? Sarah here! (AKA Sofia) I haven't posted in forever, so I feel like I need to. The 8th graders had their graduation ceremony this past Thursday, and I was crying quite a bit. I think Kuhlie and I can agree we both will kind of miss them. They all had something about them that just stood out and made them pretty funny and kinda cool. Sure, they would be rude at times, but you kinda forgot about that. And yes, they had a stupid side that was so stupid it was funny. So they will be missed in the 2011-2012 year. But one said if I messaged him on FB he would bring cupcakes:D

Anyways, we just have THIS WEEK LEFT OF SCHOOL! I'm so pumped up about it (: I have some plans this summer of 2011, and I know Kaleigh does as well.

So bidding you farewell, and a happy summer,
This is Sarah signing off :)

Happy Birthday!

I'm dedicating my blog post my to my best friend (Emma) and her little sister (Ava); since their birthdays were just celebrated.

Emma has been my best friend since 1st grade and left in 4th or 3rd. I can't remember... But she and I are still close. She and I used to be in a girl scout troop together at her school. Then the troop quit and we're lucky we still see each other. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EMMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For Emma....

For Ava...
Ava is Emma's little sister and in preschool. She loves princesses and all the little girl stuff. She is so cute and fun to play with! When I come over for a sleepover with Emma, she gets me confused with her babysitter which is just too cute for words. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AVA!!!

Dream of You

The day of the year, in this case I love, is coming this next Wednesday. It's Grandparents Day. The day in which your grandparents (or parents, aunts and uncles, friends, cousins, etc.) come to my school, hear us sing silly songs, and visit your classroom. Every year, I invite my grandparents.

Well this year, I made the BIGGEST mistake of my life.

I invited Kelly to come and watch Sarah (aka Sofia) and I at the program. How is that a mistake inviting my best friend in the whole world to the day I love? Well, that's an easy question. We're doing Singin' in the Rain this year; and we're dancing a little to one of the songs ("Dream of You"). I told Sarah at lunch who I mistakenly invited, and she and I semi-freaked out. I mean, this is almost all dancing. I have every right to freak out. And I have a SOLO for a song called "Good Morning". Actually, I'm the understudy but still, I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO FREAK OUT!

I pray nobody brings a video camera....

....And congrats you guys! You're still alive to read this post on judgment day! YAY!! And if Jesus does come back today, I would be happy with it! :D

For the Lord will return like a thief in the night. (I Thess. 5:2)

Prone to Being Sick

Well, here I am again. Finding nothing to do on a TUESDAY morning while my classmates are studying. Why am I at home?

I am sick. :(

Thing is, I only have a runny nose, sore throat, some headaches, and a stomach ache. I grateful that I'm not (eww....) vomiting. :,( I'm trying not to think about it, because I was sick a few months back. On a Tuesday. For two days! It all started like this....

I had a really bad stomach ache while at school. I dealt with it until after I got home from basketball practice. I laid down for a while with a bowl. And I puked in it. And then I threw up again at like eleven p.m. and fell asleep again. (Yes, my parents knew I was sick.) I woke up the next morning, started getting dressed for chapel, and showed my mom. She said I was not going to school since I had thrown up at 11 p.m. I got undressed and in my pajamas. I stayed at home until 3:00 with my dad. We had a basketball game today and I wasn't going to be there. I went to youth group that night though.

But basically, I'm prone to being sick. Forever and always.

All Over The Place

I may make this the most boring post yet. But Sofia and I go to a Christian School. (Like it's all semi-perfect and you have to have all your homework in and all that fun stuff)

And if you recall I do sports. And my P.E. teacher/basketball coach said one thing at practice or a game (I can't remember...)

"You girls need to know that you aren't gonna master or be perfect at basketball."

O.o

Well, I know we aren't perfect is the first thing. We have a sister pair (one's an eighth grader and one's in my class) and they think THEY ARE ALL PERFECT! :(  Each time after we do a few laps around the gym, they say, 'most of them cut the lines while running! CHEATERS!'.
I may do that sometimes by mistake, but them just thinking they're the perfect person in the world makes me sick. The older one today at track sat out because she 'hurt' herself. If you meet me in real life, you may never hear me say that about anybody! And then the older goes around and says these hurtful things about my friend, Sarah.
Now Sarah is in her class and really nice. I love Sarah because she encourages ALL people. Not just her friends. She knew me and my friend Damita in kindergarten and Damita always asked her to tie her shoes. And Sarah would do it and treat Damita higher than herself. Like in Romans 12:10 in the Bible.

But anyways, I know I am not perfect. Our teachers, faculty, and friends expect too much because they think we're perfect. Well if you go to a Christian school, doesn't mean you're a Christian.

My teacher said that and he had a long talk with us about it. Going to a church doesn't make you a Christian. Yes. I do fail at basically every thing I do. Ask Sarah, Sofia, Kelly, or Abie (Read Glee, Soccer, and Friends). This makes ME human, because last time I checked, Adam and Eve did sin. And since WE are ALL on of their descendants, therefore we sin. It makes us human.

So if you're reading this, I encourage you to take 3 things from this:

  1. WE AREN'T PERFECT! I don't care what your parents say about you being the perfect child, you aren't perfect in God's eyes.
  2. FAILING MAKES US HUMAN! I missed over 50 shots, bumps, runs, and heats. But it makes me a human.
  3. And three, GOD IS THE PERFECT ONE! God is perfect and we aren't for a reason. If we were perfect, well, this world would have chaos...

I'm gonna use my real name,

Kaleigh <3

What's up, guys?

Felicita here and well I don't know what else to say.....

OH! Ok! At school, Sofia and I have our very own lunch table with our other friend Margarita and it is called 'Narnia' by our principal. And now it has divided into 5 parts! Like it's Asia and then divided up into little nations. Like this. ---------------------->
I'm Hoopla where everything are circles, rainbows, and blablabla. Margarita is Korea and Taiwan. She wanted Taiwan to like small and Korea BE HUGE! And then Narnia is one nation and two territories. Nar is on top and Nia is on bottom. Together they are Narnia. I said I could be all the same nations at once and Margarita was.... Amazed.

Got to go! For Narnia!!!

~Felicita!~
